The work we’ll do together will start you on a journey that will take more than a day or a week to complete and for most of that journey, you'll be walking alone. It’ll take some introspection, some research and some good old fashioned trial and error but I’ll give you some guidance before we part company, on what to do once you’re flying solo.
We'll talk about your competition, your concerns and your dreams, and come up with a business proposition that's going to get you from where you are now to where you want to be. We'll discuss what's stopped you from moving forward before now - the real reasons - and how you can get past those. We’ll focus on what's going to make YOU happy, because money isn't the only motivator.
As the name implies, this program will have you on a steep learning curve but I want you to understand the process that I'm following so that you can participate without feeling overwhelmed.
There are two ways I could come up with the information I've promised. By getting it for you or by getting it with you. I'd like you to leave our time together not just having this information, but understanding how you got it, and knowing how to look for it again when you need it, so I choose the second option.
I strongly believe that knowing why your clients are likely to be attracted to you, and how to use this information to your advantage, is some of the most useful information you can have as a business owner.
So to get us up to speed, I ask you to follow a process of pre-work, which involves completing workbooks that form part of my self-study program. The workbooks prompt you to provide information about yourself and the people you like to work with. They work a bit like an interview process, but one that you can do at a pace that's comfortable and convenient for you. Once you've completed the workbooks, you will have a level of understanding about the process I follow, that will enable you to participate comfortably in our first coaching session, as you won't be hearing information for the very first time, and expected to process it all under the pressure of a video call.
Even if you don't have all the answers to the worksheets straight away or understand exactly where the questions are heading, it's likely that after our session you may go back and revisit some of the worksheets, and that's okay because thinking and revising is how the process is designed to work.
Once you've completed the worksheets, I will review each one so that when we meet for our first session, I know a lot about you and your goals and am able to structure our time together for maximum benefit.
